John was someone who l enjoyed spending time with, he always had a smile and liked to chat about golf and dancing and the holidays he had with Claire and his family I will miss him.

I remember one Christmas Eve when I was young, being woken repeatedly by my Dad hammering and banging into the early hours. I stayed in bed, pretending to have my eyes shut in case Santa didn't come.
When I woke on Christmas morning I discovered what all the noise was on Christmas Eve.
My Dad had spent the night building me a model train set complete with stations and farm animals. Thanks Dad
